My son absolutely loves these. They are gluten free and disolve easily for teething and make great finger foods.

group halloween party Tip
My daughter (3 now) has loved this book since we got it a couple of months ago! She quotes it (even though she can’t read yet) and asks me to read it to her almost daily, and I usually have to read it more than once when we sit down with it. She feels very proud of herself for being a good big sister, just like in the book. Very cute and a quick read–great for 2-5 year olds!
My 2 1/2 year old still loves this book. We got this book for her just before the birth of our second daughter in Jan, 2009. It really makes her beam with pride to think of herself as a big sister. Maybe it is just her, or the fact that we focused on her as well as the new baby and tried to involve her in the care of the baby, but she has always been gentle with her little sister. At first glance the bottle feeding can be misinterpreted to being biased against breastfeeding moms, but I pumped so that my husband and daughter could help with the feeds. I think it is beneficial to everyone while breastfeeding to have one feed a day be from dad or sister. It gives me time to cook dinner or do something else like shower:-). If you are breastfeeding do not dismiss this book just because of that section, you will miss out on a gem of a book.
As the weeks grew closer to the arrival of our 2nd child, so did our daughter’s excitment. That’s where “I’m A Big Sister” comes in. My 2 yr old almost treated it like a handbook to babies (It’s as if she was thinking “Feeding pizza to babies: Bad!”) She loved the book and still asks for it at night. The book is both sweet and smart. I think the book helped adding a new member of the family all that more special.
Great book for a new big sister. Sweet pictures and simple language that our 2 1/2 year old repeated a lot, which helped her transition to having a baby brother. Book does not say baby brother or sister, so it could work for multiple siblings. A good buy too!
A new baby can be very stressful on older children. This book directed at big sisters, is a cute well illustrated story about the positives of being a big sister. There are plenty of statements to discuss with your child that will give them an idea of just how little baby is and what they can do as the big sister to help baby learn. The book discusses the big sister attributes in such a way that big sister can learn just how special they really are!
I wish these had been around with my oldest. My son has been eating them since about 6 months, and he loves them. He will eat 2-4 daily in the veggie flavor.
They dissolve so quick, I do not worry about him getting choked.
They are not messy either, like biter biscuits, and those worry be because they can break off and not dissolve
My little man loves these & I came here to Amazon to check into purchasing from them instead of where I have been. [...] I can’t believe there are so many people here getting ripped off, do a little digging & you will find them much much cheaper!!! Try [...]…………….Your Welcome!
My daughter likes the strawberry mum mums. The strawberry ones are organic. I expected this one to be organic too, but it doesn’t say it anywhere on the box. I also expected that since this was made from vegetables, it may have a little more nutrition. But it was no different than the strawberry. So there was no benefit from buying the vegetable ones plus they weren’t organic. I’m going to stick with the strawberry ones from now on. If you buy the strawberry ones, make sure your little one doesn’t have any allergies to strawberries.
My son absolutely loves these. They are gluten free and disolve easily for teething and make great finger foods.
When my child was starting to learn to self-feed, people always recommended Gerber Puffs and other types of airy/puffy easily dissolved food for babies. The problem is that these snacks are processed, full of preservatives and artificial flavors and colors- pretty much Cheetos for babies! I saw these at a local store and tried them based on another mom’s recommendation, and my little has loved them ever since! They don’t make a mess like other teething biscuits, dissolve easily, and are made of natural ingredients. These are especially handy if your little one has diarrhea, since rice is easy to digest and firms up the stools. The taste of this is mild, similar to Rice Krispies, and like I said, the little one LOVES them. I would tell any new mom to try these as a healthy way for their child to start self-feeding.
I bought this costume for my baby’s first Halloween and I was a bit disappointed with it. It did not look exactly like the item that is depicted in the photograph – the peas were much smaller and the colors were off. It wasn’t TERRIBLE but it wasn’t what I thought I would be getting. The deal breaker for me was when I went to put it on my son who is just under 4 months old and the costume was too short for him. This outfit is supposed to fit children up to 9 months of age and my son is not overly tall (he’s 25″). I don’t think I will be buying costumes from this store again…
I put my 7 month old twin girls in this costume for Halloween. The two peas in a pod were a big hit!!!! Everyone loved it. The costume was easy to put on too. I highly recommend this costume for singles or multiples!!!!
The bunting section of the costume was very cute, but the hat was too small for my two-month-old even though the size suggests the costume should fit until six months. Just a warning to other parents of big-noggined babies.
My 2 year old daughter loves this. I bought this because we are in between dance sessions and I wanted to reinforce the dance lessons at home. Easy for a toddler to understand, they just need a little help with some of the positions.
I recently purchased this for my daughters, ages six and a half and two and a half. My oldest loves it. We’ve done it together a couple of times and she has done it on her own a couple of times. My youngest likes to twirl around and imitate her sister, so it even holds her interest for a few minutes. If you’re looking for a substitute for dance lessons, this won’t fit the bill. However, if you are looking for a great intro to different styles of dance, this video is fantastic. There are two routines for each style of dance, demonstrated in short teaching segments. The teacher first demos the moves by herself–very clearly–and then you see the class perform that segment, eventually putting in all together. The teacher is nice and the girls in the video are cute as can be–I would guess around the age of my daughter. The dances are challenging enough for a new dancer to need some practise before they have the routines down, but not so overwhelming that they give up. Doing the different dances has helped my daughter decide which kind of dance lessons she’d like to take. It’s also a great way to sneak in a little exercise for my daughters when the weather’s bad. I’d highly recommend it!
I am amazed that anyone gave this instructional DVD anything less than 5 stars. It teaches them so much for the amount of money I spent. I purchased 2 of these DVDs for my 4 granddaughters, aged 2,4,5, and 7. I also bought them each complete ballet outfits. Their reactions were as follows. The 7 year old liked the ballet part the best, and was very interested, the 5 year old is a little shy, and did’nt have much of a reaction at first, but with some encouragement from her parents and sister, Im sure she will participate. My other 2 granddaughters loved it and immediately tried to learn all of the moves, and have wanted their parents to put the DVD in repeatedly ever since they got it. My advice: Buy this DVD, get yourself and your kids off the couch, and spend time together encouraging them to learn how to dance and have fun. But dont waste your money if all you are trying to do is plug them into the TV to get them out of your way for awhile, because there are thousands of movies out there that can do that better than this video. Just remember how important excersize is for a healthy body! In closing, my personal favorite is the jazz section, which includes 4 adorable dance routines that they learn step by step. Awesome job Miss Rosemary! I hope there will be more in the future. Thanks! Happy Grandma
My sister-in-law, a high schooler who has taken a few years of dance classes at a local dance studio, noted that the instructor in this video seems to move a bit too quickly for beginning dancers. My 4-year-old daughter does enjoy the video and tries to follow along, but she definitely is having a hard time picking up most of the moves. It’s a hard balance to strike, though, because you want to go slow enough for beginners, yet you also want it to be advanced enough that there’s the opportunity for the person who owns the DVD to grow as s/he repeatedly practices with it. So all in all, I’d say it’s a well-done video, but buyers need to be aware of what may possibly be too steep of a learning curve.
I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it. It offers tap, ballet, and jazz. It has simple easy moves that she can do in the living room. We don’t have a ballet bar so she holds onto the coffee table and it works just fine. It’s perfect for the beginer who isn’t quite ready for classes.
This is a good idea and I considered getting one, but upon further research I found that this device is not approved by the FAA for use. I even found mention on some airline websites strictly prohibiting the use of devices just like this. So be aware before you buy that there is a good chance you will be told you can’t use it on your flight. Flight attendants vary on their enforcement of the rules, so you experience may vary, but knowing the rules ahead of time will have you ready.
By the way, Amazon sells the only FAA approved restraint that is not an actual seat.
