   Although we had to set rules about when and how these accessories could be used, they were fantastic. My son wore them with his medieval knight Halloween costume and he was delighted with them. They are very sturdy and of excellent quality for the price.

   The Shield and sword are pretty small. But it will be ok for halloween.

   My son was a knight for Halloween and this matched his costume perfectly. Plus I didn’t play that much for it. The handle on the shield did break when I pulled a little too hard to get it to latch. Over all for the price he still plays with both after a little help from some elastic. I would buy this again for him, even if he wasn’t a knight.

   I bought a wand for each of my two sons. When I opened the package, I was surprised at how poorly made it was. The battery cover barely stayed on and the light was broken on one of them after only an hour of play.
   It should be sold at Dollar stores because it certainly isn’t worth what I paid for them.

   I gave this as a gift to my favorite harry potter halloween impersonator. Its a great gift for any Harry Potter fan. The only negative is there is no off switch so it keeps making noise.

   Granted, I paid under $10 for this, but it has to be the worst made piece of plastic I’ve seen in a long time. This is worse than most kid’s meal toys, as far as quality is concerned.

   The screw for the battery compartment was stripped on arrival (and no, it doesn’t come with batteries.) I had to disassemble the whole thing to get any batteries in. The pieces don’t fit together with the tip, and don’t even look as though the molds are made to fit well.

   The only reason it’s getting 2 stars from me instead of one is because my 7-year-old thinks it’s great. He loves the lights and noise – and, well, it WAS cheap.

   Only spend the money if you’re willing to give up any kind of quality for the fun-factor of lights and noise.

   My son is so into Harry Potter, and this wand is perfect. It makes sounds, and he feels like he is really making magic.

   This wand is absolute junk. On the back of the wand is a plate that must be unscrewed to install two AA batteries. The batteries are a tight fit with one going up into the body of the wand. When you shake the wand or make any movement the tip of the wand lights up and makes a noise.

   Within three hours, the toy no longer worked at all. My guess is that there is a loose connection but there is no way to see it because the negative connection and wire are in the body of the wand which is impossible to get to. Why they couldn’t have made a better battery compartment with an on/off switch is beyond me. We didn’t spend a lot for the toy but I do expect it to work for longer than three hours.

   The ONLY reason we are keeping it is because my son loves it and can still pretend even though the wand does not work.
